NETWORK OF INNOVATION CENTERS IS TRAINED TO MARKET THEIR TECHNOLOGY

The CI Baja Network is made up of 33 registered scientific and technological innovation centers, as well as other highly specialized centers in research and development.

MEXICALI.- The Ministry of Economy and Innovation (SEI) in alliance with the Network of Technology Transfer Offices in Mexico (OTT Network) held the Workshop on Valuation of Technologies for Commercialization, aimed at the members of the Network of Innovation Centers of Baja California (RedCIBaja), to link with the productive sector of the region and thus solve technological challenges of the industry.


The CI Baja Network is made up of 33 registered scientific and technological innovation centers, as well as other highly specialized centers in research and development, aligned with strategic sectors to join the business fabric.


On this occasion, through virtual and in-person sessions led by Karla Roxana Aispuro Castro, secretary of the Board of Directors of the OTT Mexico Network, the various technology valuation methods and the basic concepts that They must be considered to carry out a valuation and their potential applications to define a management and marketing strategy.


The purpose of the OTT Network is to strengthen the innovation ecosystem, share efforts and collaborate in actions of common interest for the development and consolidation of the technology transfer and commercialization function, make visible the technological offer of Higher Research Institutions (IES) and seek to complement experiences in training and mobility, success stories, monitoring of activity measurement indicators, possibilities for developing technologies among HEIs to optimize economies of scale and create a culture regarding intellectual property.


Personnel from the academic, research, business sectors, developers and technology owners from companies such as Quarkss, SMK Electrónica, REDIGAN/EYS and the Center for Wine Studies of Baja California, Center for Research and Development of Digital Technology (CITEDI) of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN).

Also from the CETYS Center of Excellence in Innovation and Design, the Intelligent Center for Innovation and Technological Development – ​​CiIDT UABC, the Technological University of Tijuana (UTT), the Polytechnic University of Baja California (UPBC), the Tijuana Technological Institute (ITT) and the Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education of Ensenada (CICESE).
